MMJ08-114
Ons is baie opgewonde oor die bul MMJ08-114 wat ons aangekoop het van Dr. Wynand Basson van Standerton. 114 het goed gebalanseerde teelwaardes en is geteel uit ‘n fantastiese koei. Sy moeder MMJ97-214 het reeds 11 kalwers in 13 jaar gehad met ‘n TKP van 364 en ‘n Reproduksie indeks van 112.  Sy vaar MMJ03-164 het geen bekendstelling nodig nie.

Alhoewel MMJ08-114 net twee jaar oud was op die veiling toon hy reeds baie potensiaal as teelbul. Met goedgevormde testes, goeie toplyn, uitstaande bespiering en breedte (om net ‘n paar kenmerke te noem) glo ons dat die bul vir ons goed sal teel. Hy is reeds ingespan tussen van die beste koeie in die kudde.
    

AG98-338
This bull needs no introduction. AG98-338 was sold to JAY-EL Bonsmaras, Dr. Joggie Briedenhann, Neil Rissik and Dawid Visser for a record breaking R800 000 in 2006. He breeds fine offspring and we have used him heavily in our breeding program. We have come across few, if any, bulls in the past five years that breed such well defined muscling such as AG98-338.
   

AG04-310
We purchased this sire, half-brother to the above-mentioned bull AG03-256 in 2007. His sire AG02-251 is a son of AG98-338. He is a well fleshed bull with tremendous depth and we are using him heavily in our insemination program.

RCO98-037
RCO98-037 is a bull that breeds well fleshed broad and hardy cattle. At the ripe age of 12 years this grand old bull is still as impressive as ever with the libido of a 2 year old bull. He is notorious for that his sons are breeding sought after animals in numerous herds across the country as well as neighboring Namibia.
 

BHE03-083
A son of RCO98-037 out of an impressive cow we purchased at the Fortress dispersal sale in 2006. We are one of a few breeders currently in possession of BHE03-083 semen. Quoting Burkhard Hermann, breeder of BHE03-083, “Probably one of the highest quality bulls that Fortress has ever bred” (Fortress News, 2006) it is clear that he will make an impact in years to come.
 

AG03-029
This bull is definitely one of the finest examples of almost faultless conformation to be found in the Bonsmara breed today. We will definitely intensify our use of this fine bull in the following breeding seasons.   

AG03-256
This bull was sold for the second highest price in the Bonsmara breed namely R625 000 in 2009. AG03-256 is a son of AG98-338 out of a highly fertile feminine cow AG93-063. His dam, an ELITE production award nominated cow was purchased by JAY-EL four years ago. At the age of 17 she is still producing great calves for us. We are expecting his first calves in the 2010 season and look forward to really expanding our application of this great sire in our herd.

MMJ03-164
MMJ03-164 is probably one of the beefiest sons ever bred by RCO98-037. We have used 164 in both our A.I. as well as embryo programs and the calves are getting better and better. He is bred out of a great proven mother line of Dr. Wynand Basson. We are fortunate to be one a select few breeders holding a semen share in this tank of a bull. Unfortunately MMJ03-164 died in 2010 but we are privileged to be in possession of more than 2000 straws of semen. Look out for this bull’s offspring in years to come.
 

 

MMJ03-204
MMJ03-204 is seker een van die bulle met die beste bouvorm wat ons al in ons kudde gebruik het. Die bul het diepte, lengte en baie breedte wat hy oordra na sy nageslag. Ons sal sy eerste seuns in 2012 op ons produksieveiling aanbied.  Hy het uitstaande kalwers geteel in ons embrio-spoelprogam. MMJ03-204 het vir een seisoen by ons beste trop bulmoeders geloop, so ons kan met rede opgewonde wees oor die toekomstige rol wat sy nageslag in ons kudde sowel as die ras sal speel.
 

 

AG05-263
AG05-263 is ‘n bul wat ons al vir ‘n paar jaar met belangstelling dop gehou het. Ons was bevoorreg om 263 te kon koop in 2011 met Paul Mare’ en Cornay Botma as mede-aandeelhouers. Die bul se moeder is ook een van die bulmoeders in ons elite kudde. Soos die foto duidelik toon is die bul so lank soos ‘n trein. Sy vaar AG03-256 is ook een van die bulle wat ons in ons KI program gebruik. AG05-263 het baie goeie bespiering wat hy oordra na sy nageslag.

 
MMJ04-105
MMJ04-105 is our specialist purpose heifer bull. Whilst having favorable breeding values for birth this bull is well fleshed and breeds early maturing animals. This bull is unrelated to the majority of our other bloodlines and forms an exciting link in our breeding chain.
